Meet The Chef
Greg grew up in Athens and since he was 7 years old he start having a close
relationship with cooking. As a teenager he worked on his free time in restaurants at the centre of Athens and Acropolis surroundings. During that time, he learned all the roles of hospitality inside and outside the kitchen and the Greek cuisine.
Greece has such a rich culinary diversity as every city has different recipes. Chef Greg moved to Thessaloniki where he finished his culinary head chef degree. He has LRN Level 7 Certificate and three Master degrees; Modern Cooking Techniques on the Greek Modern Cuisine Master degree, Vegan Chef Master degree and Pastry chef degree. He workied in various restaurants in Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Hydra, Spetses, Zakynthos, Keffalonia, Volos, Serifos, Thessaloniki, Allonisos and Xalkidiki.
Since 2021 he moved in Edinburgh Scotland with his family. He worked as a Development Chef and created menus in multiple different restaurants.
Chef Greg Nanousis is Greek kitchen Chef and admires fresh ingredients that's why he cooks fresh every day .
